Hello! Today is a special one, we are finally going to create the dungeon we have been working on since 2 months ago. With all the pieces at our disposal, all that's left is piecing it together. The best thing about this model is that we can actually use it. I loved the idea of playing a role-playing game since I was a child, in some ways I still am, and this model will aid bringing it to life. while Games like DnD are fun even without any diagrams or 3D maps, having it there always increases the immersion. Having a view of the battlefield as you fight adds to the tension even more, creating a memorable moment. With this model, I can 3D print any dungeon I desire. Enough chit-chat, let's start!
We have to start at the base. I gathered some walls to create the basic template of the dungeon; These walls are the brick version we created in a previous blog. after being happy with the shape, I added the floors and pillars; No pillar had the exact same design. These steps were the simple ones, now comes the decorating. To decorate the floors, I added some pebbles and some rocks and to decorate the walls, I added the torches. Filling up the room is our next challenge. I imported some barrels we created and some crates; these touches really livened it up. Finally, the model was done.
The process of building the dungeon was meticulous but enjoyable. Starting with the basic template of walls, floors, and pillars, we gradually added unique touches to each element. The attention to detail in the design of the pillars and the careful placement of pebbles, rocks, torches, barrels, and crates brought the environment to life. The room transformed from a mere structure into a vibrant and immersive space.
In conclusion, the journey of creating our dungeon model has been a thrilling and fulfilling experience. As we pieced together the various elements, we couldn't help but be excited about the possibilities that this model brings. The prospect of using it for role-playing games, such as DND, adds a whole new level of immersion and excitement. Being able to visualize the battlefield and explore the depths of the dungeon through a 3D map enhances the storytelling experience and creates unforgettable moments.
